MAKÜ Attended the Vocational Education in Business and Workplace Practice Evaluation Meeting

Among them, the Rector, Vice Rector, and Vocational School Coordinators (MEYOK) from 7 universities, including Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, came together to discuss the "Vocational Training and Workplace Practice" implemented within the framework of the 3+1 Education Model.

The study and evaluation meeting regarding Vocational Training and Workplace Practice took place hosted by Manisa Celal Bayar University.

The meeting was attended by Manisa Celal Bayar University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ataç, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Afyon Kocatepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karakaş, Afyon Health Sciences University Rector Prof. Dr. Nurullah Okumuş, Sakarya University of Applied Sciences Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık, Isparta University of Applied Sciences Rector Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Çatal, and Isparta University of Applied Sciences MEYOK Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kabul.

The meeting focused on students integrating the theoretical knowledge they gain in their professional fields during their education with practical training they will conduct under the guidance of experts in workplaces under the course named "Vocational Training in Business".

Additionally, it was mentioned in the meeting that it is aimed for students to develop the necessary practical skills for qualified training towards employment, that students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the business world and find job opportunities during their education life, and that they will be able to graduate with 4 months of work experience.
