Our University Vocational Schools Train Students with the Sector and Stakeholders

Our University, which is the pioneer of academic development and regional development in Burdur, trains the qualified workforce needed by the sector, industry, and stakeholders with our sector representatives and academic staff. By combining the demands and needs of the sector and work life experience with the knowledge of our valuable academic staff, it is ensured that qualified personnel who are modern, meet the requirements of the age, can produce practical solutions, and are directly needed by the sector are trained as graduates of the Vocational School.
Program Advisory Board meetings, which are held annually within the body of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Vocational Schools Coordination, were held again in 2019 in all our Vocational Schools. At this point, in all our vocational schools providing vocational education in the fields of Technical, Social, and Health, our expert academic staff and students came together with sector representatives to discuss and evaluate the current education curriculum, internship, and job opportunities in our vocational schools. By combining the valuable suggestions and contributions of sector stakeholders with the professional knowledge and skills of our academic staff, it is ensured that the education provided in our vocational schools is designed and delivered more purposefully. Ensuring that the vocational education provided in vocational schools is conducted in harmony with developing technology and that technicians and qualified personnel needed by the sector can be trained is made possible through Program Advisory Board Meetings. In our region and country, where the need for qualified workforce is so important, both the relations between our university and the industry-sector are improved and developed, and the internship and employment opportunities for our students graduating from our vocational schools can be increased.
